Speak out for Cannabis Reform Miami
No one in favor of cannabis reform will be on the program for the Marijuana & Youth: A Community Conversation scheduled on May 18, 2013 in Liberty City, but if you can attend the forum, we need your help!
Irv Rosenfeld, an expert on the long-term effects of smoked cannabis asked to speak and was denied a place on the program. Irv Rosenfeld is the longest surviving of the final four Federal Medical Cannabis (marijuana) patients in the United States. He receives 300 cannabis cigarettes every month (appx 7 ounces) and has for over 30 years.
The open public invitation billed the event as a community conversation on cannabis. The invitation states, “Pro or Con, Fact or Fiction, the summit will assemble and educate Liberty City community stakeholders on the economic, social, health, and legal impact that the use and/or sale of marijuana, regardless of legalization, will have on Liberty City.”
We need you to attend the forum and assure pro-cannabis voices are recognized. We cannot let this forum proceed without the community knowing there is opposition to prohibition.

The program hosted by the Urban League features Calvina Fay of Drug Free America and Save Our Society from Drugs, members of police, judiciary and mental health departments. No one with a pro-cannabis reform agenda was invited to participate.
