I get this question a lot, i was wondering if do as well since your glass collection is larger. "How can you tell when a glass piece is fake or not name brand?" As in... Roor, PHx, etc I know these usually are done for cheap elsewhere not by the real company and people get screwed into buying them at the brand cost.

There’s no hard and fast way of simply looking at any glass and telling if it’s real or fake. If you find a reputable source, you shouldn’t have to worry as much.

That being said, you can observe the quality of the make, and there are clues you can find for specific brands.

Real quality glass should sit level, the joint should well ground, the glass should be fairly thick with no bubbles, etc. Knock-offs have elements that resemble the cheap factory production glass(poorly placed downstems, misshaped or malformed pieces like bowls, misaligned percs/splash guards, dents, etc).

what percentage of thc are you guys talkin?

If a bud weighs 1g and it has 20% THC content, it means there’s 0.2g of THC on it. Same goes with the rest of the cannabinoid content ratings such as CBD, CBN, etc.

Check out our Strain Database, aka Periodic Table of Pot, for more THC and cannabinoid percentages.

Hope that helps,

Hey, I was just wondering if you knew what the cannabis plant actually uses THC for? I always thought it might be to deter animals from eating it, but I really have no idea. One love!

It’s supposed to prevent animals from consuming it with it’s psychotropic effects. It’s also designed to collect pollen with it’s sticky texture. But there have been studies revealing that as a physical property, THC also absorbs UV radiation, allowing the plant to grow in harsher conditions.

Plants exposed to higher amounts of UV-B also produce more THC, creating a more potent product.

hey I really hope you know this one because I couldn't answer this when I was asked and I can't find anything online about it. How is THC Gold made? Thanks

It’s THC. Raw, solvent-less THC. Hence the golden, oil-like consistency.

It’s far from a simple extraction like other concentrates. The process is similar to making perfume. Plant matter is boiled to separate the THC from flowers, then removed via a fractional distillation using a vacuum evaporatorThe product is usually 80% or higher THC content.
